Are you struggling with pain or some other debilitating issue?
It can be a long, lonely struggle. But there is hope!
Maryam Webster had to make an emergency move back to the United States after breaking her back in a car accident. Told by doctors she would never walk again, she responded with some "impolite" sign language and started the long road back on her own.
You can hear her inspiring story
of recovery in this interview with Fiona Truman.
It's part of the upcoming "Back Hope" summit which is designed to bring hope to people struggling with chronic back pain and related issues.
Maryam takes us through her long struggle and "lessons learned" as she taught herself to walk again, while overcoming pain so bad that she wanted to end it all at one point...
She talks about the loneliness and isolation that is so easy to fall into, and how she learned to work through it and find joy in simple and practical ways.
There was no magic pill or instant fix, but she learned to keep moving ahead each day, while trying various alternative therapies until she found what worked for her.
She also lost over 100 pounds of the weight she had gained through years of mobility, when she discovered a simple "missing ingredient" that she needed to take out of her diet.
You can listen to this call directly, with no opt-in required.
It's a great example of what the upcoming Back Hope summit is all about. Maryam had to take a holistic approach, dealing with not only the physical, but nutritional, emotional, mental, energetic, and spiritual aspects of who she is.
This is an inspiring account that not only lifts your spirit, but gives some very practical steps you can apply right away.
Please take a listen, and share with someone you care about who could benefit.
Thanks,
Richard
